Week 8 (Sept 10-16)

Caroline and Jake came to my volleyball game with me last Thursday. Pete and Brenda also met us there. My team was a little out of it that day, but we ended up winning!

I made Caroline dress up like a strawberry. I don't think she liked it so much, but she did not cry. I think she is cute!

We went to the farm house Friday night for the game on Saturday. It was Caroline's first night away from home and she slept really well.

We met up with some friends before the Gator Game on Saturday. This was Aunt Mary Hall and Nikki's first time seeing baby Caroline. It was a short visit, but it was fun. Jake kept Caroline while I went to the game. Go Gators!

Week 7 (September 3-9)

This week was Caroline's first week at day care. She is going to First Baptist Church and it is only a couple of blocks away from my office. It was hard to leave her the first day, but it got better every day. I am only working half days for a couple of weeks so it is not bad leaving her there for 4 hours or so. There are 5 other kids in her class, but they are much older. I think the youngest one is 4 months old and she is only 6 weeks. Here is a picture of Caroline on her first day of school! She wore the outfit that her daddy got her in Australia.

We had some visitors this
week that included:

Uncle Dan & Darlene
and Allie(Travis' Girlfriend)

The big news this week was that Jake did the US Open men's final match. It was so much fun to watch him on tv and he did a great job. Congrats Jake/Daddy!!! He was in the local newspaper too... http://www.tallahassee.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2007709130380.

Week 6 (August 27-September 2)

This week Caroline and I went to my dad and Mary's retirement party.
They have worked for the state of Florida for 35 and 34 years. It was fun seeing all of the people my dad has worked with over the years. Everyone had a good time seeing Caroline for the first time. My father took her right as I walked in the door and showed her off to everyone. We had a good time.

It was Grandpa Pete's birthday this week! Pete and Brenda brought Carrabba's over to our house and we had dinner together. It was so good and we also had cake!

My friends Cathy (from Jacksonville)and Kristin (from Opelika, Al) came to visit over the long weekend. They both got in on Saturday and stayed until Monday morning. We had fun catching up, watching movies and eating a ton!
