Our New Car

Thursday, Jake and I bought a new car. It is a 2008 Toyota Highlander and I love it.

2nd annual girls weekend in St. Teresa

Cathy, Kristin, Mary Hall and I get together every Memorial Day weekend. This year we went to St. Teresa and we had a great time. Caroline came with us for half of the trip and then her Grandmother picked her up on Sunday so I could have some time to myself. Made you laugh!

Bath Time

Monday night, I had to go to a Junior League meeting so Jake kept Caroline. He snapped this picture while she was being cute in the bath tub. Check out her spiky hair!

Kristin's Graduation from Tuskegee

Sunday our friend, Kristin Raboin, graduated from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. We are sorry we could not attend the ceremony, but we got to watch her walk across the stage because Tuskegee web casted it! We are so proud of her!

At the beach for Mother's Day

As a surprise, Jake planned a day at the beach for me for Mother's day. It was supposed to rain on Sunday(which it never did) so we decided to go on Saturday instead. We drove to St. George Island State Park and spent the early afternoon at the beach. Caroline had fun playing in the sand and eating Cheerios's covered in sand. The water was a little chilly still and the waves were rough so we did not stay in the water too long.

























After we had our fun at the beach we drove over to Apalachicola to walk around and to eat dinner at my favorite restaurant.

Sunday at the park

Caroline, Jake and I went to Winthrop Park on Sunday to get out of the house and get some fresh air.
Jake and Caroline had a great time watching the baseball game and when the fans cheered Caroline followed right along and clapped.
Caroline loves the swings. All of the baby swings were taken so Jake put her on his lap and the swung until one became available.

She's starting to walk!

Saturday night Caroline started to walk with the help of her lion walker. She's on the move now!

Phase 4 (final phase)

Jake planting Day Lily's. I was digging the hole and then he planted.

We love the way our front yard turned out and we can't wait till we can start on the back!

Phase 3

There is not too much of a change here. We had to have 4 yards of top soil dumped into the beds. Jake spent a couple of days spreading it out because it had to be even in order for us to begin planting.
