Phase 2

Sunday morning a crew came over to my house and started to prepare the beds for landscaping. They also cleaned up all of our trees and our yard looks so much better! Take a look!

We are going to purchase plants on Thursday and then we are planting on Friday!

Playdate in Southwood

Sunday Caroline and I met up with some of her classmates from day care. We met at April's house in Southwood and walked up to town center to have lunch. We had good intentions of walking around the lake to get some exercise, but it started to sprinkle so we cut our afternoon short. Caroline and I had a good time and we can't wait to meet up again.

Davis Cup Picture of Jake

Jake's mom found this picture and caption from 2 weekends ago in Argentina. Jake was in Buenos Aires for Davis Cup.

Adriana's birthday

Our friends Patricia and Enric's daughters first birthday was a couple of weeks ago. She is a happy, healthy and beautiful little girl as you can see. ¡Feliz cumpleaños!

My father use to make me pancakes of my initials so I thought I would carry on the tradition.

Before...

After almost 4 years of living with no plants we are finally landscaping our front yard!

We try to stay with the traditional gift giving for anniversary's so we are giving plants/flowers this year (4 years, can you believe it).

Brody's First Birthday

Happy 1st Birthday Brody! (April 12, 2008) Brody is one of Caroline's friends at day care. She follows him around and he teaches her everything he knows. Wendy, Brody's mom, says he is "advanced" so I am hoping Caroline learns this from him!

Caroline's Room

People have been asking me to post pictures of Caroline's room. So here they are...

After the great debate of 2007 over bedding, you can see we chose the dots from the Gap and we love them!



Jake slaved for days painting all of the dots on the wall by hand. I love the dots and Jake says we cannot move because he is never painting dots again.

Yet again...

This is the second time Caroline has fallen asleep in her exersaucer. Thought we would share the funny picture.

No room for Caroline

As you can see from this picture, there is no room in Jake's suitcase for him to take Caroline to Argentina with him. He tried to take her, but the suitcase was full!

Caroline came home from day care one day last week and was so tired she fell asleep on the floor.




Saturday, Deb Deb came over to play. She put Caroline in the toy basket. How cute is she?!?!





Sunday, Caroline had pancakes for the first time. She really enjoyed them!

Caroline has gotten much more adventurous crawling. I accidentally left the pantry open and she crawled over there and pulled the crate out of the pantry and started beating on her snacks. Guess she was hungry.
