Day 9, Saturday July 26th
Our last day in Toronto, Caroline and I stayed at the hotel and packed and I made sure she got a good nap because it had been a long week. After Jake was done working Caroline and I picked him up and we went to Cynthia, Peter and Cooper's house for dinner. The kids got to play together again and after dinner we went on a walk to the corner coffee shop to get some gelato. We continued to walk to the park in their neighborhood and we let the kids play for a few minutes.

Day 7, Thursday July 24th
Caroline and I headed out to downtown Toronto to go to the Toronto Islands and to the CN tower. Caroline had never been on a boat before and she had such a good time looking out the window and see all of the tall buildings and the water!

We went to Center Island and they have a small children's amusement park called Centerville. Caroline could only ride 3 rides and here are some pictures of her and I on the train. She loved every second of it! I should have taken he on it multiple times, but I was anxious to beat the crowd's to the CN tower.

Next we went to the CN tower which is like the space needle in Seattle. The views from it are amazing!
They also have a glass floor that you can walk on. Another one of my phobias is heights so this is not my foot on the glass. I could not get my head to let me step on it, but I got up right to the edge. That was good enough or me.
Day 6, Wednesday July 23rd (AKA Caroline's first birthday)
We started the day off with playing with balloons and unwrapping presents. Caroline loved throwing the balloons up in the air.
Then it was cake time! We put down towels on the floor of the hotel and we let her go to town.
We went to work with Jake again and it rained all day. Caroline and I took a nap in the umpires room and when it stopped raining we went outside to play. Caroline quickly learned how to push the stroller and loved doing it.
Day 5, Tuesday July 22nd
Caroline and I went to visit all of the animals at the Toronto Zoo. We saw every exhibit...even the snakes that I am deathly afraid of! I wanted Caroline to see everything there was to see.

It was a long day, but I really hope Caroline enjoyed all of the neat animals.
Day 4, Monday July 21st
Every other day we went to the tennis site with Jake. We really wanted to spend some time with him on our vacation. He was really busy working, but we had some fun times together.
Day 3, Sunday July 20th
This day Caroline and I met my friend Cynthia and her 13 month old son Cooper at the Royal Ontario Museum. Cynthia and her family use to live in Tallahassee and moved to Toronto last year. We ate lunch at the museum cafeteria and then walked around. It was a great experience for Caroline because they have a whole floor dedicated for children. We went in the bat cave, touched a snake skin, and saw all kinds of dinosaur bones. After the museum, we walked down to a huge mega mart called Honest Ed's. It had everything you could ever imagine and more for cheap! We walked through a trendy neighborhood where the University of Toronto is located. We went to a small bakery and got bread for dinner later that night and we stopped for a snack at Tim Hortons which is the largest Canadian fast food chain. We went back to Cynthia's house and we had a wonderful dinner of fillet Mignon and lots of grilled veggies.

We went to work with Jake on Saturday to spend some time with him and see all of his co-workers.
Caroline liked our fluffy big bed at the hotel. It was a king bed with a ton of fluffy pillows and down comforters.

Day 1, Friday July 18th
Our day started very early because our flight left Tallahassee at 7:00am Friday morning. Caroline did not sleep on either flight until the very end of the 2nd one and then she was out hard. Here is a picture of Caroline going through customs.
After we got checked into the hotel, we drove to a small town called Unionville. It is a quaint little town with a lot of unique shops and restaurants. The main reason we went is because we are huge fans of the TV show Gilmore Girls and part of the pilot was shot in Unionville. The picture below is the building that they turned into Luke's Diner.
