As a surprise, Jake planned a day at the beach for me for Mother's day. It was supposed to rain on Sunday(which it never did) so we decided to go on Saturday instead. We drove to St. George Island State Park and spent the early afternoon at the beach. Caroline had fun playing in the sand and eating Cheerios's covered in sand. The water was a little chilly still and the waves were rough so we did not stay in the water too long.
After we had our fun at the beach we drove over to Apalachicola to walk around and to eat dinner at my favorite restaurant.
